I first met Alma when I was looking for a rental unit. Her attention to detail, speedy responses and dedication to helping me find a place was impressive. One year later I was in the market to purchase a house and went to Alma. Right away we felt like a team and naturally, we found a house that met our specifications and within our price range. What surprised me most was the attention even after the sale had been done. From inspectors, to electricians, to plumbers, to lawyers and even furniture! Alma has a fantastic network of individuals. She was present for every check-in, which was often several hours long. I will be working with Alma again and recommend her to anyone looking for a home. The thing about Alma is that she's just wonderful to work with! We were first-time home buyers and completely new to the world of real estate. She was patient, enthusiastic, honest, and so incredibly helpful, and worked to allay any fears we had. She encouraged us to be informed and to use our instincts, and we ended up with a home we are absolutely in love with. She's smart and savvy and very strategic. This might not sound true, because at first I also doubted Alma. Her enthusiasm, empathy and proactiveness made me wonder if she is for real. I have lived in 4 continents over the last 14 years and rented apartments every year. I connected with Alma virtually when I was relocating from New York to Toronto in 2018 with a 2 month old baby. She made sure she understood my requirements and helped me secure an excellent deal without me seeing the apartment (which is what I needed as I could not travel to Toronto at that point due to immigration issues). She pointed out the pros and cons of each apartment. She made sure I could get in on day 1 and provided appropriate workarounds. Fast forward, one year later I decided to buy my own place. The only person came to mind was Alma. Buying is a big decision but she made it seamless. I am in a beautiful condo thanks to her. I don’t think I can say this for anyone else I have worked with globally - Alma understands people, she will not let you down.
